For instance, one can enjoy a scary movie, but not really a fearsome encounter with a ferocious beast.

The scary optical illusions are created not only for movies, but also for the horror corner of the amusement parks. Along with a appropriate sound effects these illusions can bring about a lot of thrills and chills down the spine.

The scary optical illusions maybe two-dimensional or three-dimensional; depending on the requirement. For movies and television serials, apart from the graphically created ones, directors have masks and puppets also created.

They also largely play with sounds to support the scary effect they wish to create.

As for the amusement parks, there are other effects that are added on to make the walk through, or the entire presentation a fun and yet thrilling one. For instance, the smoke screen with a skull on fabric and something popping up from on top could send instant chills down the spine.
